LOSSIEMOUTH
Lossiemouth in the council area of Moray used to be an important fishing town and a port for nearby Elgin. It’s often referred to as ‘The jewel of the Moray Firth’ due to its sandy beaches and wonderful scenery.
The town is regarded as an attractive golf resort and is also popular for water sports, particularly sailing and surfing.

Starting Point
This walk takes you around beautiful Lossiemouth harbour area. Look out for all the fabulous boats in the harbour, shops and cafes. The waves here are also great for budding surfers with a strong community that take to the water regularly. Look out for them along the beach.

Lossiemouth Harbour
From the Top Up Tap, walk towards the harbour and join Pitgaveny Road to continue to the Harbour Tearooms. Turn left along Shore Street to the junction with Kinnedar Street.

Top Up Tap
Turn left again along Kinnedar Street until the junction with Queen Street, then cross James Square diagonally along the path. Continue left along James Street turning left just past the Library and then right down Hill Street.
Turn right along Pitgaveney and Seatown Road back to the Top Up Tap.
