Langholm
Langholm
Langholm is known for its hills and history. Surrounded by four peaks, Langholm is the birthplace of Scottish poet Hugh MacDiarmid, and home to Scotland’s oldest brass band and penny newspaper! With a population of just under 2000, this is a small but muckle toon.
Our Top Up Tap is situated in the town’s main car park, The Kilngreen, where the Ewes and Esk rivers meet and is a favourite meeting place for visitors to enjoy the wildlife on the river, just a short walk from the children’s playpark and tourist information hub.
Please note this tap has been temporarily turned off due to the cold temperature.
